- Overseeing vessel technical matters, preparation of repairs and dry-docking specifications and monitoring of all repairs afloat and in dry-dock.
- Ensure vessel classification and port state rules and regulations are in compliance.
- Ship inspections.
- Purchasing of spares and consumables.
- Conduct periodical safety and operational readiness of vessels inspection
- Implementation of ISM and quality assurance.
- Perform casualty incident investigations, compliance audit and incident and accident reporting where required.
- Preparation of OPEX budget, monitoring and control.
Requirements:
- Good organization skills.
Analytical and people skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Results oriented with the ability to act decisively.
- Ability to perform under high pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preferably an Ex-Oceangoing Marine Engineer with over 10 years of working experience with Construction vessels and support vessels such as AHTS and DSV's
- Offshore safety certification up to date as offshore work will be required
- Minimizes accidents to zero incidents throughout.
- Conversant in planning and scheduling effective maintenance schedule.
- Demonstrates strong analytical problem solving with organizational ability.
- Strong communication with good relationship management in various crisis situation.
