Job Description

Background:
Dome-Tech Incorporated, a UTC Power company is the leading provider of commissioning services in the Northeast.  Our wide range of clients include higher education, healthcare, industrial, pharmaceutical, financial and commercial markets.  With our unique combination of field and design experience, we provide complete in-house testing and verification services to guarantee unbiased results.  Our commissioning services comply with ASHRAE Commissioning Guidelines as well as USGCB Leed Guidelines and principles.  We also provide Total Building Commissioning for new building construction, additions and renovation.  In addition, we have an array of services that help improve the operations and energy efficiency of buildings throughout their life-cycle.

Available Positions Include:

• Project Managers;
• Commissioning Engineers;
• Field Engineers.
  

Individuals with at least 3 years experience in any one of the following areas are ideal candidates for positions in the commissioning field:

• Commissioning;
• Mechanical or electrical design;
• Construction project management;
• Control system installation or maintenance;
• HVAC testing and balancing;
• Facilities operations and/or maintenance
  

Additional requirements include:

• Review design drawings and specifications to ensure the systems can be properly commissioned and maintained;
• Review project submittals for consistency with the design intent;
• Develop the commissioning verification sheets and test procedures;
• Provide field verification through witnessing and testing to ensure project quality and adherence to design;
• Provide technical, communication and leadership skills necessary to effectively present findings and corrective actions to the client;
• Ensure customer/client satisfaction for tasks performed;
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and field personnel to develop additional business for the group;
• Cultivate new client relationships and accounts.
