Helix Corporate Human Resources has a need for dynamic and talented Master of Vessels for the Marine Offshore Group. The qualified incumbent will: Overall responsibility for the management of a Dynamically Positioned production vessel in co-operation with the OIM and the Chief Engineer. Supervising the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, as well as its seaworthiness and stability. Assuring the vessel maintains compliance with the requirements of all regulatory and statutory authorities. Directing and supervising the vessel’s crew to assure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. Interfacing with the client’s representative onboard the vessel to assure that company goals and objectives are met. Experience Required: Licensed Master of vessels – Unlimited, in accordance with STCW 95. Licensed Dynamic Positioning Operator. Previous experience as a Master or Chief Officer onboard DP operated FPSO, Production, Drilling or Diving vessels. Solid knowledge of SMS / ISPS. Fluent in verbal / written English. Knowledge of offshore production processes and applicable Class / USCG rules is preferable, but not required. Ability to work offshore for extended periods of time.
