Job Description

Global leader in inter-dealer brokering of OTC physical and derivative products is looking for experienced Dry and Web Cargo Brokers.  Northeast US location. 

Requirements:

·         Develop and maintain relationships with in-house traders, customers and panel brokers

·         Provide rates to traders and charter vessels

·         Negotiate worldwide spot, forward, voyage, time charter and COA charter accounts

·         Oversee operations and logistics on voyage and time chartered tonnage

Profile:

1.       Experienced dry freight trader coming from a bulk commodity trading house or owner/operator

2.       Strong negotiator with 3 years + experience and solid knowledge of freight markets

3.       Ability to work well in team environment

4.       Good interpersonal and inter-cultural skills

5.       Independent judgment and decision making ability
