Job Description

Your main missions will be:

• Monitoring of fabrication, procurement, commissioning and installation of the mooring and mooring equipment;
• Ensure the compliance of engineering studies and construction works to the Company’s HSE and QA/QC requirements and general specifications;
• Ensure the compliance with applicable codes and standards with the aim to reduce investments at maximum without impacting the required level of quality and safety in design;
• Verify the engineering documents submitted by FPSO Hull Contractor for comments and ensuring compliance to all technical requirements;
• Answer questions and queries, taking into account the contractual environment of the FPSO;
• Review questions and queries regarding exemption or modification requests;
• Anticipate problems in his field of activity and propose solution(s) or optimisation(s) to COMPANY;
• Participate at technical or co-ordination meeting as requested;
• Communicate with FPSO Hull Contractor’s team for solving daily problems;
• Liaise with other disciplines to ensure consistency of the works;
• Liaise with class (BV) regarding issues related to compliance with rules and regulations;
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID and PTR reviews;
• Attend the shop tests and site test of the mooring equipment;
• Verify the mooring installation procedures.    
  

Profile:    
You have a significant experience as mooring engineer, especially in follow-up of fabrication and installation phases of mooring equipment.

Language: English fluent.
